topiarist of the year 2025
Hoste Barn topiarist Paul Everden won the Henchman Home Garden Topiarist of the Year 2025. A garden 32 years in the making, planted, maintained and cut by Paul and Sian. The coveted trophy has attracted considerable public interest, with a filmed article on the BBC, a feature in both The Times and The Express The garden was also runner up in Gardener's World Garden of the Year competition with an article in Gardener's World July 2026 Magazine.
Garden Design
Nation's Favourite Garden with The English Garden magazine and NGS 2023 runner-up in the East of England. This was after we had opened the garden to the public as part of the National Garden Scheme, through which we raised almost £4,000 for cancer charities every year.
Gardeners World 2025 Finalist published in the July 26 issue of the magazine.
